From November 03-05, 2023, the gates of Messe Dortmund will open to offer horse and dog lovers a diverse program.
Hund & Pferd brings together the most popular leisure partners at one trade fair. The largest dog show in Germany combined with a horse show that will delight horse lovers. Around 370 horses and 10,000 dogs keep the public in suspense with a non-stop supporting program.
Breed presentations, a large show program, training demos and numerous hands-on activities promise at least as much fun as the numerous sales booths, where there is everything that dog and horse owners need for their loved ones. At reasonable fair prices, of course.
The fair is open daily from 10.00-18.00. Tickets will be available in our ticket store from August.

The Hund & Pferd
Visitors to Hund & Katz can look forward to a spectacular program: The focus will be on the exciting pedigree dog competitions, where dogs from over 240 different breeds will vie for places on the winners' podium.
Variety is also offered by the supporting and show program: In addition to the fast-paced Frisbee show, there are, among other things, the qualifying runs for the Deutsche Meisterschaft Para-Agility, four-legged TV stars or the helpers on four paws. Another sporting highlight is the German Dog Dancing Championship.
Exhibitors & Products
Four halls invite you to store at Hund & Pferd. In addition to proven products at low trade fair prices, the fair also offers plenty of space for innovations. Those who store here know the latest trends for their four-legged friends.
Halls 4 & 5 are the central sales halls for dog articles. Horse lovers will find what they are looking for in Halls 2 and 3.
Free wifi
We are pleased to offer you access to the City of Dortmund's city WiFi, which is operated by the telecommunications provider DOKOM21. It goes without saying that WiFi use is completely free of charge for visitors, exhibitors, event organizers and anyone else on the exhibition grounds.
Accessing the WiFi takes just a few steps:
- Switch on the WiFi on the terminal device
- Connect to the WiFi network "Hotspot Westfalenhallen
- The Westfalenhallen Dortmund login screen opens up
- Alternatively: Open browser (Safari, Firefox etc.)
- Call up any unencrypted page (e.g. www.web.de).
- You get to the login mask
- Click on the "Free access" button
- Accept terms and conditions and terms of use (check the box) and click on the "Log in" button.
- Done.
