VDH-Europasieger-Show

Protected by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH)

  • Candidacy for the title „Deutscher Champion (VDH)“
  • Candidacy for the title „Deutscher Jugend-Champion (VDH)“
  • Candidacy for the title „Deutscher Veteranen-Champion (VDH)“

* The title "Bundessieger" entitles the holder to start in the Champion Class in connection with a candidacy for a Champion title obtained at another show.

  •     Qualifications for the title "German Champion (VDH)" count double.
  •     Reserve championships for the title "German Champion (VDH)" will be counted as normal championships.

Frühjahrssieger Show

International Show for all breeds of dog protected by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the Verband fuer das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH)

Title: “VDH Winner of the Year”

The title “VDH Winner of the Year” will be awarded to those dogs that awarded at least four CACIBs within the course of a calendar year – at least two of them at two different VDH show weekends (VDH-Europasieger- and Frühjahrssieger Show / Bundessieger- and Herbstsieger Show / German Winner Show and International Show / VDH Annual Trophy- and International Show) and at least two awarded at other International shows in Germany.

The title “VDH Winner of the Year” entitles to start in the Champion class. Applications can be made free of charge to the VDH.

For the application please send the following documents to VDH:

  • Copies of the four judge's report forms
  • Copy of the pedigree
  • Information of the owner with current address (will be entered on the title certificate)

Qualification for Crufts

The VDH Europasieger and Bundessieger exhibitions are the only two exhibitions in Germany where you can qualify for the Crufts. Authorization to launch Crufts is given to:

  • VDH-Europasieger
  • VDH-Europajugendsieger
  • Bundessieger
  • Bundesjugendsieger

The following prizes are awarded by the VDH:

A certificate is given to everyone:

•  Bundessieger
•  Bundes-Jugendsieger
•  Bundes-Veteranensieger
•  Herbstsieger Dortmund
•  Herbst-Jugendsieger Dortmund
•  Herbst-Veteranensieger Dortmund

A trophy will be given to everyone:

•  Bundessieger
•  Bundes-Jugendsieger
•  Bundes-Veteranensieger

A rosette is given to everyone:

•  Herbstsieger
•  Herbst-Jugendsieger
•  Herbst-Veteranensieger
•  Best Veteran of the Bundessieger Show as well as of the International Show (issue in the preliminary ring)
•  Best of Breed der Bundessieger Show as well as of the International Show (issue in the preliminary ring)
